Who are the Co-Op Chicks?
What is a Co-Op Chick? A Co-Op Chick is someone unique, someone who chooses one-of-a-kind, local goods over things that are mass-produced in foreign countries. It is also someone who loves breathing life into old things and understands that everything good is readily available. A Co-Op Chick works with others to make a difference in the community.
The original Co-Op Chicks include Suzanne Taylor, Nancy Jeffery, Nora Wendel, Lisa Rigley, Jennifer Grillone, and our roosters, Gibbs Smith, Troy Taylor, Ryan Jeffery, Virgil Grillone, and Charles Adams. We hope to add your name to our coop!
Our vision is to bring back more of the old-fashioned charm and unity to the original First National Bank building, built in 1905 and located at 50 W. Gentile Street. We are transforming the building into what we call The General Store, Home of the Co-Op Chicks.
